Better than yoga?

Is The 8-Minute Wonder better than yoga?  Anything that works to keep the body flexible is good.  Yoga has been around forever and is a discipline (rather, a number of them) that can keep you occupied a lifetime.  If you want a fun, gentle way to get into yoga, may I suggest the 1990’s video by Dixie Carter, The Unworkout II.  You can probably get this on eBay or Amazon for $15-$20 or so.  I have watched this a million times, and the 20 minute sessions, morning and evening, are great.  Not only is this video useful yoga instruction, but, as you might expect, it is very entertaining.  Dixie’s cute comments have become part of my family’s daily language.   The 8-Minute Wonder is now my exercise of choice for keeping flexible because it takes less time than yoga, you don’t really have to think about what you are doing (or learn how to do it), it is more upbeat and fun, it can be done anywhere and any time.  Whereas yoga can be intimidating, The 8-Minute Wonder is not.  I welcome you to try both activities and see which works best for you.
