About Rich Davis

Rich Davis has a Ph.D. in adult education and a master’s degree in English.  Since 1993 Davis has traveled the Southeast performing a program called “The Magic of Reading” in schools and libraries.   Yes, as you may already have surmised, Davis performs his shows in the character and dress of Benjamin Franklin.  His interests include:  public speaking, learning and memory, history, reading, and health/fitness.  Davis received three degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi; he also attended Minot State College and the University of Maryland, Far East Division.  For fun, Davis is learning Spanish and how to play several musical instruments.  He loves golf and riding his bike.
