Dr. Rich Davis . . .

is an energetic, enthusiastic speaker and author who has found a way to creatively and enjoyably reach large numbers of people with his special messages about education.

A former college English and public speaking teacher who has also taught extensively in literacy programs, Dr. Davis understands the needs, interests, and desires of learners of all ages and levels.

Author of several books and over 300 articles and columns, Davis holds a Ph.D. in education and an M.A. in English.

Davis has spoken at over 5,000 schools, libraries, colleges and universities from Florida to New York.

Davis holds a Ph.D. in adult education and an M.A. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also attended Minot State College and The University of Maryland.

Dr. Davis lives with his wife Ginger in Summerville, SC. They have three cats: Ermie, Delphine, and Heidi Ho.  Davis is passionate about:  classical guitar, ukulele, digital piano, learning Spanish, flying kites, American history, baking bread, golf, and helping people learn ways to get college credit very cheaply. 

(Davis is also fond of Benjamin Franklin and believes Franklin is by far is the greatest American who ever lived.)
